Vertex perfectly punctuates this innovative, award-winning pool and landscape design.

Modern Elm is a 14,985-square-foot custom luxury residence in Utah. A long-standing dream of its’ Cookie entrepreneur owner, the residence was conceived as a self-contained “resort package”. Spread across two adjacent buildings, It’s unique amenities include a pickleball court, a state-of-the-art movie theatre, a folding outdoor TV” that mechanically disappears into the pool deck and specialist wellness features housed in a stunning glass house.
Splinterworks were commissioned to design a pool slide to complement the resort-style Cabo pool and provide a sculptural focal point for entertaining and relaxation.
10 H 439 L 300 W /cm.
Marine grade mirror-polished stainless steel with a brass patina.
Water-cooled with a switch.
The design was constrained to a tight footprint to allow for subterranean elements; giant TV in vault, large drainage channel, pool overflow tank. This gave it a steep chute and increased sculptural form.
The integrated cooling system ensures that the slide will remain safe to use on even the warmest Utah days.
The slide was meticulously hand-finished with a brass patina to match the antique brass in the chimney caps and other interior accents, including lighting and hardware.
