A beloved Hamaca—too good to leave behind in a relocation
About the Project
A standard white tub just wasn’t going to cut it for these clients. Ayesha and Kerry King, renowned guitarist from heavy metal band Slayer, loved their black carbon fibre bath so much, they packed it up from their house in Los Angeles and brought it to their new home in Las Vegas.
The hammock bath is now positioned out on the balcony, which has underfloor heating so they can bathe outside all year round. The tub was previously wall hung, so now they have used floor brackets that allow it to be freestanding.
They installed a beautiful timber screen for privacy, which opens up to a glass balustrade to soak in the view.
This indoor-outdoor bathroom was designed by Ayesha King, and has inspired many more clients to site their tubs on a balcony to enjoy the same advantages.
