Knightsbridge: A complete interior

Working across the interior of this seven-floor London home, we fused a bygone Art Deco style with contemporary functionality.

It was a pleasure to work with this client again. We had previously been commissioned to work on their Monaco home.

This time, we were asked to develop the interior design for this investment property in Knightsbridge, which sold recently.

Working in rooms across seven floors, Splinterworks designed the custom Olive + Nero kitchen, bathrooms featuring our Altara wash basin, and bespoke Myrtle + Aspen and Grey + Grain bedroom furniture and cabinetry.

The brief for the kitchen was for a complete cooking, dining and entertaining area in a fairly compact space. Making use of every inch available, we created a fine balance of luxury timbers and stone.

We used burr olive for the cabinets with rich, dark Nero Cosmos granite for the countertops, and ebony stained oak for the drum cabinet and table. We were able to create defined areas in a compact space, without comprising on luxury.

The Myrtle + Aspen bedroom cabinetry, featuring a book matched myrtle veneer, brought a distinct Art Deco feel to the interior decor of the property.  Curvaceous lines on the dressing table and ball feet on the wardrobe create a feminine elegance that is both classic and contemporary.

We employed our usual superior craftmanship across this interior, delivering a luxurious finish throughout this beautiful home.
